What information do I need to book a porta potty?
To book a porta potty, have five things ready: the delivery address or a GPS pin, the delivery and pickup dates, the number of guests or workers, the unit type, and where the unit should sit. Gate codes, HOA rules and tight access points help the driver get it right the first time.
Where can a porta potty be placed?
A porta potty can be placed on level, firm ground such as grass, gravel, pavement or packed dirt, within about 25 feet of where our truck can park. A standard unit fits through a gate at least 4 feet wide. Keep the spot clear of low wires, tree limbs, septic lids and parked cars.
| Check | Good | Problem |
|---|---|---|
| Ground | Level grass, gravel, pavement | Slopes, soft sand, mud after rain |
| Distance from truck | Within about 25 ft | Long carry across a yard or up steps |
| Gate | 4 ft or wider (standard unit) | Narrow gates; accessible units need an open drive |
| Overhead | Open sky | Low wires or branches over the spot |
| Wind | Sheltered, or staked | Open lots and roofs without stakes |
| Neighbors / HOA | Side yard, out of street view | Against a neighbor’s fence or window |

Do I need to be there for delivery and pickup?
You do not need to be there for delivery or pickup when the spot is marked and the truck can reach it. Mark the spot with a cone, flag, stake or ribbon, or send us a photo or map pin. The driver calls about 30 minutes before arriving in case anything has changed.
How is a porta potty cleaned and serviced?
A porta potty service visit takes about 10 minutes per unit. The service tech pumps the waste tank into a vacuum truck, adds fresh deodorizing chemical and water, scrubs and sanitizes the seat, urinal, walls, floor and door handle, and restocks toilet paper and hand sanitizer. Deluxe units also get fresh water, soap and towels.
How do I extend or end my rental?
To extend a rental, call before the scheduled pickup and the unit stays; monthly rentals roll into the next 28-day cycle on their own. To end a rental, call (803) 343-9777 and schedule pickup. Billing on monthly rentals stops from the day you call, so you never pay for a unit you have finished with.
What happens if a unit is damaged or tipped over?
If a porta potty is tipped over or damaged, call us right away and keep people away from it. We send a crew to clean up, right the unit or swap it. The renter covers damage beyond normal use, such as fire, vandalism, graffiti or a vehicle hitting the unit, as listed in our rental terms.
Full details are in our rental terms and cancellation policy.
Delivery and service questions
Can you put it on my concrete slab instead of the parking lot?
Point out the exact slab, patio or pad when you book or mark it on site. As long as the truck can reach within about 25 feet, the unit goes where you choose.
The property has no street address. How do I tell you where to go?
Send a GPS pin from your phone’s map app, or give cross streets and a landmark. Parks, cemeteries, farms and new-build lots are often booked this way.
Can you stake it down so it doesn’t blow over?
Units can be staked on open lots, fields and windy sites. Ask for stakes when you book, especially for lake properties and roofing jobs.
Will the driver call before arriving?
The driver calls about 30 minutes before arriving. If you won’t answer unknown numbers, save (803) 343-9777 in your phone.
Can I change my delivery date?
Date changes are free with at least 24 hours of notice before the scheduled delivery.
